Dive into my story

I have always been drawn to the kind of moments that feel small while they’re happening, but somehow become the ones you remember most.

The way your person looks at you when you are not paying attention. The last deep breath before walking down the aisle. The tiny hand wrapped around yours. The laughter that turns into tears. The ordinary, fleeting pieces of life that quietly become part of your story.

That is what led me here.

I’m Lauren — the photographer behind Lauren Kirby Photography. I’m a wife, a fur mom, a coffee lover, and someone who has learned that life moves faster than we ever expect it to. My husband and I have walked through young love, marriage, military life, new seasons, big transitions, and the kind of everyday moments that make me want to hold onto time a little tighter.  Photography became my way of doing that.

“Believe in a love that is being stored up for you like an inheritance, and have faith that in this love there is a strength and a blessing so large that you can travel as far as you wish without having to step outside it.”

My  Philosophy

I believe in thoughtful, considered, and personal collaborations

What began as a love for preserving life’s little moments has grown into a business rooted in connection, trust, and storytelling. I do not just want to take photos that look beautiful. I want to create images that make you feel  something — photographs that bring you back to the people, the season, the emotion, and the love that made that moment worth remembering.

My work is soft, intentional, and honest. I am drawn to movement, natural light, quiet emotion, and the in-between moments that cannot be perfectly planned. Whether I am documenting a wedding day, an engagement, a growing family, or a meaningful chapter of your life, my heart is to help you feel comfortable, seen, and fully present.

Because someday, these will not just be photos.

They will be the way you remember how it felt.
